W-SR SUMMER SPORTS PERFORMANCE CAMP

LEVEL 1:

This group is catered towards our freshman athletes, as well as any other athletes who lack weight room experience and need to focus on developing the technique and a foundational understanding of our training principles in order to have success in our more advanced groups. The goal for this group is to “graduate” as individuals show competencies in their movement patterns, understanding of technique, and display the emotional maturity and work ethic to train with our advanced groups. Depending upon each individual's previous experience, one could expect to “graduate” in as short as a week, or one could utilize the duration of the summer session to continue to develop and grow in their ability to train. “Graduating” to our more advanced groups will be handled on an individual basis and will be based solely on that individual's ability to meet the standards of the coaching staff and earn their ability to train at a higher level.

An emphasis with this group will be placed on learning the technique and movement competency of all the movements we perform regularly at the High School level. We will train hard. We will make strength gains. We will develop the same foundational skills we develop in the advanced groups. We will improve upon our ability to move linearly, laterally, and vertically during our CELL sessions (conditioning, explosiveness, linear agility, lateral agility). But an emphasis will be placed on learning, growing and developing.

ALL FRESHMAN must sign up for  Level 1 training.
ANYONE who has not previously participated in W-SR Strength & Conditioning must sign up for Level 1 training

Weight Room: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8-9:30 am
CELL: Tuesday/Friday: 8:00-9:00 am


PHYSICAL:

This group is catered towards individuals looking to make serious strength and power gains throughout the course of the Summer. This group will be catered towards big, strong, powerful athletes looking to improve their ability to get stronger and more powerful. All of our training, including in the weightroom as well as our CELL training (conditioning, explosiveness, linear agility, lateral agility), will be catered towards the goals of these specific athletes. If your goals are to become the strongest, most powerful athlete you can be, this camp is for you.

Open to ALL Males & Females 10-12:

Weight Room: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6-7:30 am
CELL: Tuesday/Thursday: 6:30-7:30 am


ATHLETIC:

This group is geared towards individuals looking to develop their skills as an athlete, improve their ability to run, jump and change direction, and make strength and power gains throughout the course of the summer. All of our training, including in the weightroom as well as our CELL (conditioning, explosiveness, linear agility, lateral agility), will be catered towards the goals of these specific athletes. If your goal is to become the fastest, most athletic, and most powerful athlete you can be, this camp is for you.

Open to ALL Males & Females 10-12:

Male Group:
Weight Room: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6-7:30 am
CELL: Tuesday/Thursday: 6:30-7:30 am

Female Group:
*Our goal is to provide a training environment composed of female athletes. If you have a scheduling conflict during any of these times, communicate with Destry and we will discuss options to train with a different group.

Weight Room: Tuesday/Thursday: 6-7:30 am; Friday: 7:30-9 am
CELL: Monday/Wednesday 6:30-7:30 am


Baseball/Softball:

Any baseball or softball athlete is able to attend the designated in-season lifts at no cost. These sessions will be scheduled and coordinated by your respective baseball or softball coach at alternative times. Any baseball or softball athletes that would prefer to sign-up and register for Summer Sports Performance Camp are welcome to do so. Game day lifts will be modified accordingly.
